2018 National Finals Rodeo Entertainment

Held the night before the opening of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the 32nd Annual Downtown Hoedown at Fremont Street Experience will feature Free Concerts by top country talents on Dec. 5, 2018, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Downtown Hoedown will feature free concerts from various artists (TBA) on Fremont Street Experience’s three stages.

NFR Experience

While NFR is the main event, some of the biggest entertainment during NFR happens after the rodeo. Several of country music’s top artists come to Las Vegas to perform during the weeks of NFR. Previous performers include George Strait, Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Reba and many more.

The NFR runs for 10 full days and there is also the Cowboy Christmas Show running the same time, located at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Paradise Road and Desert Inn), just one block off the strip. It’s the premier shopping featuring jewelry, western wear, boots, art and furniture from over 400 merchants. Cowboy Fanfest is also located in the convention center and offers over 100,000 square feet of interactive space, exhibits, championship livestock and autograph sessions.

NFR at Thomas & Mack Center

The Nationals Final Rodeo takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a capacity of almost 20,000 the venue is electrifying during events. The most recent round of renovations occurred in 2008 when a huge LED scoreboard was mounted in the center of the arena to ensure you don’t miss any of the action. The bucking chutes at NFR are located at the Thomas & Mack Center end in front of sections 101/122 and the roping end is located on the opposite side in front of sections 111-112.
